We believe that youth are co-creators of their community and need to be empowered to fulfill that role. We involve youth to advise strategy, generate solutions and train other youth themselves.
How can they help your child?
Their role includes:
- Connecting them to the information, resources and support they are looking for.
- Listening to their questions and concerns and helping them find the answers and solutions.
- Helping them to be part of confidential and supportive peer spaces where they can speak openly about their experiences and perspectives.
- Be an advocate for them.
- Help them overcome barriers they are experiencing.
- Work with them to address gaps and create opportunities or programs.
